Jim Davidson still a sexist, homophobic, ableist, racist, tax avoider
Davidson, who has repeatedly complained about having to perform in front of people in wheelchairs, was arrested in January as part of Operation Yewtree. The allegations made against the entertainer, who boasted in his autobiography of giving his wife a black eye, were unconnected with the investigation into the abuse of children by Jimmy Saville.
A solicitor acting on behalf of Davidson, who in 2007 used the term “shirt-lifter” in an exchange with gay TV presenter Brian Dowling, said her client was “pleased” with the outcome of the investigation.
